Guidelines

Each participant can submit up to two abstracts as presenting author. However, only one can be considered for oral communication.
 

Abstracts should be submitted via the registration site, using "Submit Abstract-Oral" or "Submit Abstract-Poster" button bellow. Please use the available Microsoft Word file "Abstract Template".
 

Please read carefully the guidelines for preparation of Abstracts for Poster or/and Oral Presentation in the Abstract Template! The abstract must not exceed one A4 page.

 

Decision of acceptance of oral or poster communications will be made by the Scientific Committee upon evaluation of the submitted abstracts. Accepted abstracts for posters and oral presentations of registerants will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

Guidelines for presentations

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Plenary talks: duration of presentation 35 min and 10 min for discussion;
Keynote talks: duration of presentation 25 min and 5 min for discussion;
Regular oral presentations: duration of presentation 12-15 min, group discussion at the end of the session

Presentations should be prepared in Powerpoint™ format (.ppt or .pptx). At the venue, you should upload your presentation on the onsite computer using a memory stick as early as possible, but no later than the morning of your presentation.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

 

Posters should be size A0 (841 x 1189 mm) and presented in portrait orientation. Your poster will have an allocated board, numbered according to the book of abstracts. The poster will be available for viewing and discussion for several hours, therefore the content should be understandable without an oral explanation, and text and graphics should be readable from 2 meters away. Presenters are expected to be at the posters during the Poster session according to the programme.
